Presented by Adam Bass, MD and TargetCancer Foundation
November 12, 2020
8:45 am – 12:30 pm
The 4th Think Tank on Advancing Gastroesophageal Cancer Research was held virtually in a revised format on November 12, 2020.
Traditionally, the TargetCancer Foundation Think Tank on Advancing Gastroesophageal Cancer Research has been an in-person, two-day scientific meeting addressing the challenges facing researchers and clinicians in gastroesophageal cancer. This year, due to restrictions on travel and large gatherings, the meeting was changed to a half day, online event.
While the format changed, the goal of the Think Tank remained the same: promote collaboration, information-sharing and idea generation in an effort to define research priorities, foster new collaborative efforts across institutions, and ultimately propel the field of gastroesophageal cancer research forward. In its revised format this meeting continued to provide the opportunity for early-career scientists to present abstracts to the leaders in their field.
You can view the 2020 Think Tank program here. We were pleased to feature multiple international speakers at this year’s event, and welcomed registrants from eleven countries.
