Our Events
Connecting the rare cancer community
TargetCancer Foundation hosts educational, scientific, and community events. These events connect researchers, clinicians, patients, family members, and others for scientific collaboration, to celebrate shared milestones, and to raise funds in support of rare cancer research and patient care. If you have any event-related questions or if you would like to volunteer for an event, please contact us.
TargetCancer Foundation Gala
The TargetCancer Foundation Gala is an annual fundraiser and community-building event that raises awareness and resources to support our rare cancer research and patient support initiatives.
Rare Cancer Webinars
TargetCancer Foundation hosts a series of educational webinars to share information and answer questions about rare cancer research, treatments, and more. You can register to attend upcoming webinars live or watch recordings of past events.
Rare Cancer Scientific Meetings
TargetCancer Foundation regularly convenes clinicians, researchers, drug developers, regulators, patient advocates, and patients to share insights and address common challenges in rare cancer treatment and care. The collaborations forged at these highly interactive, uniquely rare cancer-focused meetings speed scientific advances across rare cancers and spark new progress toward precision treatments.
Team TCF: Boston Marathon
Since 2015, TargetCancer Foundation has received invitational entries to participate in the Boston Marathon’s® non-profit charity program. The members of Team TCF raise awareness about rare cancers in their local communities and fundraise to support our rare cancer research and advocacy programs, while simultaneously training to participate in one of the world’s most prestigious road races.
Rare Cancer Day
Rare Cancer Day is an international day of awareness spearheaded by the NORD Rare Cancer Coalition®. Held annually on September 30, Rare Cancer Day shines a light on the rare cancer community and the unique challenges faced by rare cancer patients, caregivers, families, and researchers.
