In 2015, Team TargetCancer Foundation (Team TCF) received two invitational entries through the Boston Marathon’s non-profit charity program. Over the years, our team has continued to grow, fueled by our runners’ dedication and fundraising success. We are proud to announce that in 2025, our team has once again been selected as an Official Charity of the Boston Marathon®, and we have received two additional invitations entries, to bring our team size to 12!
In addition to months of effort training for one of the world’s most elite marathons, members of our team simultaneously raise awareness about rare cancers in their local communities and fundraise to support our rare cancer research and advocacy programs. All funds raised by the team go directly to TCF and are put to work in real time to help patients, families, and researchers. We are grateful to the members of Team TCF and their communities for this incredible support.
Our sincere thanks to the Boston Athletic Association for providing TargetCancer Foundation with Boston Marathon bibs.

Team TargetCancer Foundation 2025
We are excited to cheer on Brendan Carey, Anna Clark, Cody Cotner, Matthew Hazard, Regan Herald, Spencer Lindsay, Madison Livermore, Amanda Melillo, Iesha Pankey, Danielle Spence, Piumrug Supasap, and Marcel Thompkins as they represent TargetCancer Foundation in the 129th Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America!
Selected from the most competitive applicant pool we have ever received, Team TCF25 is comprised of twelve incredible individuals. We are pleased to welcome back two Team TCF alumni, who will help guide their teammates as they both tackle the Boston Marathon for the second time. The team includes runners whose final sprint down Boylston Street will be the completion of their first ever marathon; members whose finish will earn them their Abbott Majors Sixth Star Medal; and a teammate who will be completing marathon number 34! We are proud to be represented by one of NYFD’s finest, a Navy JAG officer, a physician, and an NIH researcher, in addition to graduate students and other esteemed professionals.
All of our runners have inspiring stories fueling their Boston Marathon dream, and we encourage you to learn more about them by visiting their personal pages through our team’s marathon campaign website.
This year’s team has set an ambitious goal to raise over $125,000, and to bring our all-time cumulative team fundraising total for the Boston Marathon past $800,000! They have successfully trained through tough winters in Boston, Denver, Toronto, Oregon, Maryland and Washington DC, and these dedicated athletes are ready to fulfill their dream of running the Boston Marathon! Join us in wishing them good luck on April 21, 2025!
We hope you will join us on Marathon Monday at the official Team TCF cheering station! Boston is known as one of the toughest marathons in the world, and our runners are going to need to dig deep throughout the day. We will be out along the course giving them as much energy and enthusiasm as we can as they run by!
Our cheering station will be located just past the halfway point of the course, next to the Wellesley Public Library’s Main Branch, located at 530 Washington Street. We will be on the runner’s right side of the street. Look for the green and white balloons. Click the QR code in the graphic above for a map and directions to get to the cheering station.
If you can’t make it to out to the course, you can download the 2025 Boston Marathon B.A.A. racing app to follow the team and cheer them on throughout the day.
Running has always brought me hope — I started running long distances after several years of losing close friends and family to cancer. I ran the Boston Marathon with Team TargetCancer to join them in turning hope into action by raising awareness and funding critical research for rare cancers.
