Dr. Aditya Shreenivas is an assistant professor of medicine in the division of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center, Duarte. He specializes in Head & Neck, Gastrointestinal, and Rare Cancers.
In addition to providing multidisciplinary care in the fields of Head & Neck and Gastrointestinal Oncology, Dr. Shreenivas is actively involved in clinical and translational research. He has received grant funding from NRG Oncology and is a member of the NRG’s Head & Neck Rare Cancer Committee. Dr. Shreenivas has been the principal investigator of multiple industry-sponsored clinical trials. He remains committed to a career focused on symptom management, experimental therapeutics, and precision medicine. Dr. Shreenivas has coauthored peer-reviewed articles, which have been published in CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians and JCO-Precision Oncology and Blood, among others.
Prior to joining City of Hope, Dr. Shreenivas worked as a medical oncologist at the Medical College of Wisconsin and worked in the Rare Cancers and Precision Medicine program under the mentorship of Dr. Razelle Kurzrock. In terms of his education, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Bronx Lebanon Medical Center, New York, and a fellowship in Hematology& Oncology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Icahn School of Medicine, New York. Dr. Shreenivas also has a master’s in clinical research from the Icahn School of Medicine, New York. While undergoing his master’s and fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at the Mount Sinai Hospital, he was recognized with the best master’s thesis award.
Dr. Shreenivas is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Association for Cancer Research.
