Mary brings a decade of experience in cancer research operations and patient-partnered research. She believes deeply in the power of patient-centered research to advance rare cancer care, driven by the patients and families whose stories fuel her commitment to the work.
Prior to joining TargetCancer Foundation, Mary worked in clinical operations at Precede Biosciences, a precision oncology company focused on advancing cancer diagnostics and therapeutics. Before that, she spent several years at the Broad Institute, where she helped build, manage, and scale multiple patient-partnered research studies, bringing together patients and advocacy organizations to generate meaningful data. It was there that she saw how shifting traditional research paradigms and structures can accelerate the pace of discovery.
Mary holds an MBA from Boston University and a BA from Boston College. She lives in Cambridge, MA, and outside of work, she can be found long distance running, exploring the outdoors, or spending time with friends and family by the ocean.
