Presented by Adam Bass, MD and TargetCancer Foundation
November 18-19, 2021

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 5th Think Tank on Advancing Gastroesophageal Cancer Research.

Traditionally, the TargetCancer Foundation Think Tank on Advancing Gastroesophageal Cancer Research has been an in-person, two-day scientific meeting addressing the challenges facing researchers and clinicians in gastroesophageal cancer. After a successful pivot to a virtual event in 2020, the 2021 meeting returned in an expanded virtual format, spanning two mornings. This allowed the meeting to cover a wider breadth of topics and featured renowned speakers working in both the lab and the clinic. The Think Tank also continued to provide early career scientists with the opportunity to share their work with leading experts in the field through a competitive abstract session.

The Think Tank is a critical meeting focused on gastroesophageal cancers, facilitating a unique opportunity to collectively share data and ideas about how to better treat and understand these very challenging cancers. This year, we were pleased to do so while bringing together speakers from three continents as we welcomed registrants from across the U.S. and eleven countries.
